The Healing Touch That Your Dog Needs

Healing an animal through just a touch you say? Well, now that just may be possible with Emily Devargas from Animal Healing Touch. Devargas is what is called an “Energy Healer” and she does this practice on humans and pets. She often volunteers at the wellness center at Dog Lovers Days events, so that pet owners alike can see live and in person if Emily’s healing powers are right for them.

The Healing Touch with Emily

We’ve been noticing a new trend in the pet industry moving towards natural and holistic remedies. As people are becoming more conscious about their own health and wellness, and looking for safe natural healing or preventative alternatives, we are seeing that translate into how we care for our pets. I bet dog events would not even have had wellness centers until recently.

We have explored how touch is strongly connected to human emotion and harnessing the power of its energy can lead to human healing. I am a huge believer in the benefits of massage for humans. Dr. Stanley Coren explained in our Dogs Make A Difference TV episode that there can actually be chemicals released in the brain when you pat, cuddle and smell a puppy or dog. In some cases, it can be similar to the effect of taking anti-depressants.

Companion animals are often recommended as a way to reduce daily stress and symptoms of depression for those individuals suffering.  Service and therapy dogs help people each day regain confidence and independence.

Now it seems human touch can also benefit dogs in many ways including healing.

Emily DeVargas is a certified Animal Healer, ThetaHealing®, Healing Touch (HTP/I),  Sacred Activations, Reiki andIntuitive Healing Practitioner. Through Divine energy, Emily connects heart-to-heart with her patient to bring balance and harmony to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.

Healing touch is described as an “energy modality” and it makes sure that all the pets energies are balanced and flowing at a constant rate. She believes she can detect energy blockages or stagnant energy. We met with Emily Devargasan at a recent event and she explained how touch can heal. We watched Devargas go through the energy of the entire pet to make sure of its stability and flow through body and mind. She has many positive testimonials.

Energy Healing for Animals is a gentle and non-invasive method of healing. It takes a holistic approach that looks beyond the physical to help identify issues before they manifest as pain in the physical body or to reduce them.

Healing touch is described as an “energy modality” and it makes sure that all the pets energies are balanced and flowing at a constant rate.

Emily can detect any sort of energy blockages or stagnant energy within the pet. Devargas really goes through the energy of the entire pet to make sure of its stability and flow of energy through the body and mind.

5 Reasons Your Dog Could Use Healing

  • Life Transition: for animals nearing their transition: Energetically support animals through the end of life transition and can support a peaceful transition into spirit
  • Recently Rescued Animals
  • Rehab & Recovery: for animals in rehab or recovering from injury/illness.
  • Senior Pets
  • Health Maintenance

Energy Healing techniques are designed to enhance the healing process and do not replace traditional medical or veterinary healthcare.
