Super Bowl 2016 Commercials With Dogs
Every year, Super Bowl ads have dogs in them. In 2014, we featured Puppy Love versus Doberhuahua in our review.
Then there was the 2015 Budweiser Puppy Love ad.
This year, Budweiser has walked away from puppies. Instead, they created a PSA against drunk driving, starring a sharp-tongued Helen Mirren with the hashtag #GiveADamn. Colgate has also gone with a PSA about saving water.
However several brands are still featuring dogs in their Super Bowl 2016 Commercials and here is our fabulous favourite:
Heinz Wiener Stampede – Now that’s what I call a Wiener Race
This year Heinz has come up with a very cute new 30 second commercial – the HEINZ Ketchup Game Day 2016 commercial “Wiener Stampede” starring the full Heinz family.
As you may know from our Woofstock, Wienerfest and Dog Lovers Days event coverage, we are huge fans of Wieners, Wiener Rescues and Wiener Races. In fact, we’ll be filming more Wiener Races and Fundraising on February 20th in Kitchener and over the summer. You can win passes to Dog Lovers Days in Kitchener in our giveaway. However, this really is an adorable, large scale Wiener Stampede.
Wieners or Dachshunds, with their long bodies and short little legs, look like little hot dogs and often dress like them for Halloween and Costume Contests. We think this is a really fun piece of branded entertainment, especially for the many millions of families who love pets.
A family of Condiments and a very large group of Wieners in Bun Costumes are a recipe for success. The slow-mo camera work is beautiful and the Wieners all look happy and fit, racing across the field. #MeetTheKetchups
Ryanville (Ryan Reynolds)– Hyundai 2017 Hyundai Elantra
We all get distracted. And that’s why the All-New Hyundai Elantra protects you with advanced safety features like Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. After all, you never know what you’re (not) going to run into out there. The ad features Ryan Reynolds but of course, he is walking beautiful dogs at the end so it has to get a mention for double cuteness.
For kitten lovers out there, The Axe Commercial does cameo 2 adorable kittens.
