I love my dog!
The February theme on BlogPaws was “Spoil Your Pet Month” and I throughly enjoyed seeing how that was interpreted by each Pet Blogger. Last week our Wordless Wednesday gallery captured puppy love with Photos of Dogs and Kids. We also looked at super expensive gifts to spoil your dog. With the month coming to an end, we would like to share everyday examples of dogs being “spoiled” and loving every minute of it.
To spoil someone can actually be defined as a negative “to give (someone, such as a child) everything that he or she wants” “to have a bad effect on (someone) by allowing too many things or by not correcting bad behaviour” “harming the character of a child…or pet in this case by being too lenient or indulgent”. We have chosen a more flexible meaning.
Take a look for yourself at today’s examples.

If this is considered spoiling your dog… then I’m guilty!
Are you “guilty” of spoiling your dog?
Pawesome Cats says
Awesome photos – and way to hard to pick a favourite!
Teresa says
Guilty too I’m afraid but that’s just fine with me! Great pictures, they’re all so cute! WW Woofs from The Dogvine Crew

What a great assortment of spoled dogs!

We are spoiled, but on the other hand, we are expected to do certain things too, so it is all in balance. Showering with love is never a bad thing and most of our spoiling comes from doing things we love.

Great photos and examples. I’m guilty, too 🙂

Absolutely….and we wouldn’t have it any other way! What a great collection of photos.

I spoil all my pets, not because I spend lots of money on them or let them have or do everything they want. I spoil them with love.

Any dog would be lucky to be your dog! You know how to spoil them just right 🙂 All of these photos are beautiful. I can see the love shine through them.

Great “spoil your dog” photos! I would say we are guilty of all those except the latest fashions. But Veruca and Ava sure do love their homemade meals!
Groovy Goldendoodles says
To me, “to love a dog is to spoil them!” it’s the only way!
Sharon says
I spoil my dogs in many of the same ways, although I’ve never asked my dog to sit on a rocking horse. How did you teach that? Sometimes spoiling our pets is the best way to say I Love You!
Tenacious Little Terrier says
Mr. N is quite spoiled but he also has rules to follow.
Jackie Bouchard says
so many great photos! Love to see pups gettin’ spoiled! We spoil Rita – cooking for her, long walks every day, letting her sleep in the bed with us. She has it pretty good!
Jessica Claudio, DVM says
That is A LOT of spoiling. What a good life.

We are absolutely guilty of spoiling our pets. The one that really hit home for me was “By Letting Him or Her Sleep Wherever they Please!” I know some of our friends don’t let their pets on the furniture but I couldn’t imagine any other way!
Vicki Green says
I think all pets should be “spoiled” – Tim and Hank certainly are spoiled very much like yours. Loved your photos!

I am pawsitively proud to say I am guilty of spoiling my dog Valentino!
