Global Pet Expo

Today I am trading a beautiful beach for Global Pet Expo. I am very relieved I am not in Toronto where they are having yet another snow storm and many friends are without power. Orlando is warm and sunny, like yesterday on the coast.

Palm Beach

I am looking forward to seeing the new Motorola line over lunch and meeting Brandon McMillan (from the CBS Show Lucky Dog) over drinks today.  I am hoping to also see other cool food, treats, wearables, toys, fitness devices and aids and other products. Will add more WOW moments as the day progresses.

The Motorola Scout 5000 smart collar for dogs- Presentation by Sandy Robins, pet lifestyle expert.

This smart collar uses onboard Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity to allow pet owners to use their smartphones to see a streaming 720p video view of what their dog sees. Other features include two-way audio communications, the ability to locate pets using GPS tracking, geo-fencing to establish boundaries and notify owners if they have been crossed, and even a bark alert to let owners know when their dog is barking.

 Brandon McMillan

PETMATE is sponsoring Brandon’s Q & A and donations are being made for each guest. Very cool. I admire what he does with rescue dogs. I wish I could get him to help little Kilo, my Rescue Pug. Can’t wait to meet him tonight. He looks so nice.

Banner-LuckyDog

CBS Lucky Dog TV series: “Animal trainer Brandon McMillan’s second home is the neighbourhood animal shelter where he is determined to rescue hard-to-love, out-of control, untrained and unadoptable dogs. Then, back at Brandon’s training facility known as the Lucky Dog Ranch, he embarks on the seemingly impossible task of turning the frightened pooches into perfect pets. In the end, a lucky family will adopt an even luckier dog, making each episode an adoption story that warms the heart.”

Loving this Cats Of Thrones toilet set. Will have to order online and train Kilo.

Cute ear muffs from www.doggydon.com – could be very useful with all our snow if Kilo would wear them.

Met the people from Orapup after seeing their ad and videos on YouTube.

Saw our friend Preston from Preston Speaks. Love his StarWalker.

Doggy sunscreen from My Dog Nose It would come in handy on the beach.

Had fun with blogger friends including Pepper Pom, Sugar and Oz the Terrier

Oh my doodle – we’re so jelly that we can’t be there. If you love us Talent Hounds – see if you can bring Harley back one of those Motorola collars. It will go PAWfect with what’s in store for us here in Doodleville. Have a great time, and can’t wait to hear all about it!

It looks like there are a ton of great things at the expo. I’m glad you were able to get out of this nasty northern weather. Hopefully next year I will get to go. The cat toilet seat is great!
