I finally pulled out some of my Fall clothes yesterday as I took Kilo down to the Farmers’ Market in the Brickworks near our house with friends. I think both our wardrobes need a top up.
I imagine many of you will also be shopping for new autumn and winter fashions and Halloween Costumes for you and your dogs, so we decided to inspire you with this fun photo shoot and help out a little with a giveaway! The BUSTER City Jacket from Kruuse
We were sent this beautiful black City Jacket from BUSTER a few weeks ago but it has been so hot here, we had not tried it out. Finally, with some cooler weather and rain arriving, I put it on Kilo the Pug. It was the right length but sadly just a tiny bit tight around Kilo’s tummy (oops – diet time for both of us I’m afraid), so we tried it on handsome young Beau the Frenchie Pup (@tinkerbeaubeau on Insta). He is a little smaller around the chest and tummy and enjoys wearing clothes so he rocked it.
It has a durable outer layer that protects against water and wind but feels like it will be warm enough as the temperature starts to drop. It has clearly been designed with comfort in mind, as it goes on easily, is adjustable and is lightweight. We love the fit and the whole look, especially the cool faux leather collar and the belt.
Like the other products from BUSTER that we have tried, this jacket is the perfect combination of utility and style! It is definitely one of the best jackets we have seen- thank you BUSTER from Beau. We also like the look of their winter Outdoor range in this video- the model is having so much fun in the snow.
Fall Fashion Shoot with Heads ‘n Tails
We have seen the folks from Heads ‘n Tails at various local events over the last 2 years including the Fall Canadian Pet Expo. I bought Kilo’s black tie outfit I love last Christmas from them and had my eye on some other jackets. We stopped by and borrowed some of their cool fashions for our Fall photo shoot. I think Beau relaxing in this cosy sweater was our fave shot. It is hand knitted by Deborah’s talented Mom and can be made to order to get a perfect fit.
We loved the fit and autumn colour of this smart lightweight jacket.
Channelling Game of Thrones
Looking like a Boss in this sharp black faux leather jacket- the back was a little long for Kilo and Beau but the style was fun.
Ready for the cold but super comfy
I think I will get this one for Kilo the Pug as he is so fussy about comfort and fit. The length of the back and the girth were good for both Kilo and Beau. I love the fabric and design with the cute hoodie.

Love those clothes!! My senior dog Red really feels the cold, so she always wears at least a sweater outside, and often a coat as well. In the house she’ll often wear a sweater as well. I’m always on the lookout for new items, and I could easily add every one of these to my list.

Unfortunately, I missed the pet expo in T.O. a few weeks ago – so much going on. Did you shoot this video? How did they do the aerial shots? My dog has more coats than I do. I love ones with zippers in the back (like Kurgo loft jacket) so I can get access to the harness. Finally, a contest Canadians can enter! yay!
I can’t enter being outside the USA but, please if I buy a coat can I have the dogs too 🙂
Sadly, we prefer summer. haha But, we are prepared with our winter gear, coats, sweaters, hats, boots, warming blankets….but we countdown for spring.

Those jackets are sharp looking! My Maltese has a puppy cut all year long, and she seems to appreciate an extra layer of warmth in the winter.

How fashionable!! Charlie is a bit of a greyhound mix, so during winter he also wears a jacket. But it’s not always easy to find one in his size!! These are just adorable 😀
