Talent Hounds was on site visiting the Pet Photos with Santa event at Markville Shopping Centre. The event was jam-packed with pet parents lined up with their pooches to get a snapshot with Santa. The Talent Hounds crew met Casper — a rescue success story, who is known to suddenly sneak up on people as if he was the friendly ghost himself…perhaps why he was named after his namesake.
We asked Diana Pitassi, Markville Shopping Centre’s Marketing Manager, why she thought a pet event such as this would be a great idea for the mall. Diana explained:
“Markham’s community loves their pets, so to help celebrate the holidays and pet parents in our community, last year we introduced Pet Photos with Santa to Markville Shopping Centre. The positive response from Markville shoppers was overwhelming, so we decided to double the number of Pet Photo days this season. So far, our fans give it two paws up!”
