Whimsical Woofstock High Tea 2017

100 gorgeous Dogs dressed up in celebrity dog costumes for a chance win of $1000 worth of prizes at the annual Woofstock High Tea this year.

The festive and fun event was held at the beautiful Westin Harbor Castle Hotel on the shores of Lake Ontario.  It raised funds for Lions Foundation Dog Guides Canada, a charity we know first hand makes a huge difference in the lives of many.

The theme was Doppelgangers or Dogglegangers and we had a wide range of celebrity dog costumes from sports to screen to fashion and even an Einstein. Cameraman Mark and I attended but Kilo the Pug stayed home. He would have felt too stressed although he might have liked seeing his sweetie Ms Charmin.

I got some cuddles from Ms Charmin who behaved so well and looked amazing as fashion icon Jacqueline “Jackie” Kennedy Onassis in her familiar pink suit and pillbox hat.

Charmin’s Mom won a raffle prize and they sent some delicious Milk Bone treats home for Kilo.

Here’s PomPom Chewy, coming in 1st place as the Weeknd with his little bro beside him!

Winston wowed all the ladies as Elvis!

Sage brought some sophistication as Audrey Hepburn, Coming 2nd in the Competition!

Celebrity Star Power on the Red Carpet!
All the dogs would walk the red carpet showing off their finest attire! Here is Lucy strutting her stuff as the beautiful Lucille Ball. She came in 3rd place in the competition. What an inspiration! She sure doesn’t let her disabilities get in the way!

Star of our Backseat Barkers and other series, Fishstick is no stranger to the red carpet. Here is is as President Dognald Hump- he couldn’t help but show off that matching tie!

The Judges had a tough decision!
Here’s Judge Amanda Logan with her adorable Asia rescued from the Dog Meat Trade and recently adopted from Dog Tales Rescue. She also brought her little pug Aura.
