Free public (no admission cost) neighbourhood and  community-focused event in Toronto’s west end. Dogs on leashes welcome.  Lots of giveaways and activities.

Homewood Bound Rescue Fundraiser Paint Night

HBR has organized a WINE GLASS paint night in Oshawa on October15 to raise over $500 for our dogs in care!

Etobicoke Humane Society 5th Annual Bowl-Athon

On October 14, 2017, the Etobicoke Humane Society is hosting our annual Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser at Planet Bowl 5555 Eglinton Avenue West Etobicoke, ON M9C 5M1 to raise much-needed funds for our shelter. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the animals in our care by helping to cover the cost of care/shelter operations.

Sign from 12pm to 1pm and

Bowling 1pm to 3pm.

*This event does require a minimum of $75 donation*

Registration can be done in teams (maximum of 6) or individually. It’s easy to set up a team or register as an individual by following the instructions found here.

HBSPCA Junior Humane Program

Benefiting: Children & Families

Junior Humane is a great way for children to start learning about the SPCA and animal care in a fun and educational setting. There are three different exciting sessions for each age group, allowing children to get more in-depth knowledge of all the animals we help at the SPCA. Enjoy animal interaction, guest speakers, guest animals, crafts, movies, and games – what a great way to learn!

The focus is always on teaching respect and compassion for all living things. Children learn practical pet knowledge and ownership responsibility.

Session details: Ages 7-9: Meet Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:15pm Fall 2015: Oct.  – Nov.

Toronto Humane Society Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

Join the Toronto Humane Society at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon on Sunday, October 22nd 2017 and put your best paw forward for homeless pets in the GTA!

Whether you choose to run, jog or walk in the event, every step you take will be another step towards saving the life of a homeless animal. At the Toronto Humane Society, we help over 15,000 animals every single year by finding new homes for unwanted, abandoned, sick and injured pets, providing low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services in our community and more!

 Zen Dogs Halloween Benefit

Zen Dogs Wellness is hosting this awesome benefit to raise money for the vetting of Hurricane Harvey doggy survivors. Our pups are in the care of ‘Cuz I Matter Animal Rescue’ in Texas! (https://www.cuzimatter.org/) .
This event is hosted in tandem with our local rescue: Coveted Canines Rescue (https://covetedcanines.org/). Any funds raised above what is needed for our Cuz I Matter pups will be given to CCR for the vetting of our pups here. Any Supplies collected will be donated to CCR.
