Dogs Love Beautiful Island in Muskoka in Summer
And so do I.
We were lucky to spend a wonderful weekend hiking, swimming, relaxing, eating and drinking on a beautiful island in Muskoka with Sammy and Angus, the bearded collies.
The dogs had a great time. They don’t need to be leashed except during thunderstorms or fireworks as it is an island with quite a distance between neighbours and no cars. I love these photos of them enjoying the water, freedom and views. There is something magic about looking out at the lake.
The weather was cloudy but pleasant on Saturday then beautiful on Sunday- warm enough to swim, even for me.
The dogs had a great time running around the island, swimming and going in the boat.
The Canadian Muskoka Lake district two hours north of Toronto, Ontario is such an incredible part of the world. The views are amazing.
