On this weekend, Vineland Estates Winery and Featherstone Estate Winery will open their doors to well-behaved dogs on leash who wish to accompany their owners. New and favourite wines will be available by the glass and renowned chefs will be serving delicious fare all afternoon. There will be a canine theme to the weekend, with special events at each winery and a portion of wine sales will support National Service Dogs.

Featherstone, wines will be available by the glass, Chef Patrick Engel will have delicious fare available and the Jazz Trio “MGM” will delight you all afternoon. For the four-legged visitors, fresh dog treats will be baked in our wood-fired pizza oven.

National Service Dogs will be visiting with their puppies in training. They provide certified service dogs to children with autism and people with PTSD.

At Vineland Estates Winery, there will be great wines for sale by the glass and superb food from their renowned kitchen. Jane Book, an award-winning dog trainer, will give an agility demonstration.

There will also be dog contests – Cutest Puppy, Biggest Dog, Smallest Dog, Best Kisser- and a Marketplace of canine-themed vendors selling dog-related accessories and services. The Bruce Trail connects Vineland Estates and Featherstone, and it’s an easy 15-minute walk between wineries.
