Whether you are looking to adopt a pet, help an animal shelter, humane society, SPCA or another animal rescue site or rescue dogs this holiday season we have events for you!
Pet Pics with Santa at the Toronto Eaton Centre
Benefiting Animal Rescue Site: Toronto Humane Society
Get a photo of you and your favorite pet with Santa Claus! Proceeds from these photos will come right back to us at the Toronto Humane Society to help care for the thousands of animals that need help each year.
Pet Photos with Santa and Toronto Adopt-A-Thon!
10AM to 2PM
Admission: $10 per photo (100% of the proceeds from this event go towards helping dogs in need)
Benefiting Animal Rescue Site: From My Heart Rescue
Help rescue dogs looking for their forever homes this Christmas! Capture the festive spirit with your pet and support a good cause! Jaime Price of The Toronto Animal Bowen will also be present to share some of her knowledge! Meet dogs available for adoption, in support of From My Heart Rescue.

Fido and Whiskers will be upset if they miss out on their chance to meet the big man in red! Bring them down for a photo you will treasure forever.Tasty treats for both you and your pets will be available at the scrumptious bake sale. Looking for the purr-fect gift this season? Don’t forget to check out the holiday bazaar in the upstairs boardroom – hand knit gloves and scarves, one of a kind artisan pottery and so much more will be waiting just for you! We went last year and got some great holiday gifts including some pretty bowls.

Picture Your Pet- Santa Photos at Hamilton Burlington SPCA 2014

Bring your feathered and furry friends to the shelter for pictures with the merry man himself. Enjoy baked goods, warm beverages and vendors. All pets are welcome but must be under the control of their owner at all times, all dogs must be on a leash and all cats must come in a carrier.
Photo Prices:
One 5 x 7 photo (one pose) = $10.00 ***
Three 5 x 7 photos (one pose) = $25.00 ***
*** Option to purchase a USB key (same picture) for an extra $5.00.
One USB key = $15.00 (with up to 5 pictures)

Facing the holidays after the loss of an animal companion can be a challenging experience. During the session we will talk about why grief can feel particularly painful during the holiday season and ways to cope that will allow you to remember and celebrate your beloved animal companion. This will be a safe and supportive environment where everyone’s grief is considered valid and unique. The session will be facilitated by: Jennifer Chiasson-Henriques, Angie Arora and Nadine Seon
Niagara Pet Club Meetup Kibbles & Coffee

Please come join us for kibbles and coffee! The first Saturday each month we will feature different foods, treats, gear and advise for your pet.
This is a great opportunity to get to know us and other club members. There will be treats for your pets and treats and coffee for you too.

Santa pays a memorable visit to Purina PawsWay this holiday season. Capture that special moment between Santa and your pet.
Note: Santa and his elves will take a one hour lunch break from 2pm to 3 pm each day.

Dog Walk Through Sugar Maple Woods + Try Agility Jumps
Glen Erin Drive McDonald’s *Meet at parking lot in front of McDonald’s
2pm- 3pm
This will be a very unique and fun event! First, we will get to bring our dogs through Sugar Maple Woods. After an easy meet in the parking lot of McDonald’s on the northwest corner of Glen Erin and Thomas, we will walk down to the entrance of Sugar Maple Woods and we’ll take a guided walk through all the on-trail as well as off-trail hikes.
After we do about 30 to 40 minutes in Sugar Maple Woods, I’ll take the group across the street where my dogs and I live to try the agility jumps.
** Bring training treats for your dogs since they will be required as rewards!
Then after some fun and hopefully photos, it’s an easy walk back to your cars at McDonald’s just across the street.

Meet a Real Sledding Team
Admission: Free!
Have your picture taken with a real dog sledding team during Winterfest on Toronto’s Waterfront! Enjoy a quick ‘pat and chat’ with Tanya Hawley and her authentic sled dogs and see various items used in dog sledding!
Homeward Bound Rescue Meet and Great

Admission: Free!
Homeward bound will be at the Pet Valu Pickering store location December 7th! Stop by and meet the volunteers, and rescue dogs available for adoption
