TALENT HOUNDS SUMMER LOVE CONTEST (the “Contest”)
Official Rules and Regulations (the “Contest Rules”)
1. THE CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest entry period commences at 9pm Eastern Time (“ET”) on June 20th, 2013 and concludes on 5 p.m. ET on July 26th, 2013 (the “Contest Period”).
We thank everyone for their submissions.
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada and the United States over the age of majority in their province or state of residence at the time of entry, with a valid e-mail address, excluding residents of Quebec, Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. This contest is governed by the Laws of Ontario.
Employees, Contractors, Directors, and Officers of the “Contest Sponsors”: Hop To It Productions Inc, (The Producer), The Pet Network (the Broadcaster), the Zohar Group (“ZG”), Giant Step Inc. (“GSI”), and Michael Morris (“Mike”); and any affiliate (as defined in the Canada Business Corporations Act) of the Contest Sponsors, employees, directors and officers of their respective advertising and promotional agencies, as well as family members of any of the foregoing or those with whom they are domiciled are not eligible to enter the Contest.
One Entry (1) per 24 hour day is eligible. Only one photo upload during contest period is mandatory.
If it is discovered that you have attempted to enter multiple times using multiple identities, or email addresses, or that you submitted or attempted to submit more than one (1) Entry per day, or repeated uploads of the same photo/s all of your entries will be declared null and void, and any prize you might have been entitled to will not be awarded.
Entries must only be from individuals – entries from groups, syndicates, companies or the like are not permitted. All prizes awarded to such organizations will be forfeited.
Entries must be received during or before the end of the Promotion Period. Sponsor reserves the right to post and/or remove your entry or entries on the Website, in its sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor’s decision with respect to whether an Entry complies with these Official Rules is final and binding and may be made by Sponsor at any time, whether before, or after, posting. Entries that are incomplete or do not meet the requirements set forth in these Official Rules may not be acknowledged or posted and may be automatically disqualified, .
All submissions must be original and created by the entrant. You warrant that your submission does not contravene our Terms of Service or Contravene or Infringe on anyone else’s copyright or other intellectual property, moral rights, privacy or publicity rights, and that you are the legal and registered owner of the dog/s depicted in your photo or have written clearance to submit (available upon request).
BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, ENTRANT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HIS/HER ENTRY MAY BE POSTED ON SPONSOR’S WEBSITE, AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION. SPONSOR CAN DECIDE NOT TO POST AN ENTRY FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER.
Submissions must not contain content that;
- is pornographic, sexual, or contains nudity or is otherwise suggestive,
- is violent, or promotes weaponry or cruelty to humans or animals,
- is racist, sexist, ageist or derogatory of any ethnic, religious or other group of people,
- is profane or otherwise offensive,
- promotes illegal drugs, tobacco, or alcohol, dangerous activities, or gambling
- is political
- duplicates other submitted photographs or intellectual property,
- contains information about or references to people either living or dead (including personal information such as licence plate numbers or street addresses), businesses or companies,
- contains trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property, even with permission,
- contains or consists of copyrighted materials
- is inconsistent with Sponsor brand images and/or goodwill; and/or
- is otherwise illegal, immoral or undesirable for inclusion in this competition.

3. HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
Visitors may enter the Contest during the Contest Period in the following way:
Visit www.talenthounds.wpengine.com on your computer or mobile device and complete and submit a contest entry form during the contest period. You can enter every day but only one contest entry is allowed per entrant per day during the Contest Period. Only one (1) email address and one (1) entrant can be associated with each account. Entrant can upload unlimited number of different photos.
STANDARD MOBILE DEVICE CHARGES MAY APPLY.
Entries must be submitted to the website no later than 5.00pm ET at the last day of the contest period. The Contest Sponsors take no responsibility for entries that are lost, misdirected, delayed, or received after the Contest deadline. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and regulations. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address in question.
4. WINNER SELECTION
(i) After the Contest Period ends on July 26th, 2013, a panel of judges from Hop To It Productions will select the winning entry by random draw and he/she will potentially be awarded the Prize Package (as defined in section 5 below).
(ii) The potential Prize Package winners will be contacted by a representative of one of the Contest Sponsors within ten (10) business days through email or phone, as provided by the entrant’s account information and must answer a skill-testing question correctly. Potential Prize Package winners found to be ineligible, decline to accept the Prize Package, who are unable to be contacted (including failing to return emails) within five (5) business days from the time the Contest Sponsors contact the potential winners, and/or who fail to reply and accept the Release Form (as defined in section 10 below) emailed to him or her within the allotted time period or can not answer the skill testing question correctly, will forfeit the Prize Package.
(iii) If there is no entrant who enters on a Contest Period, no prize will be awarded.
(iv) If the contacted Potential Winner has forfeited or unable to claim the Prize Package, the Contest Sponsors will conduct a random draw of the entries submitted during the Contest Period to select the Potential Winner and will be contacted within ten (10) business days through email – ten (10) days from the time the previous Potential Winner forfeit his/her Prize Package.
(v) The Contest Sponsors shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof in a form satisfactory to Contest Sponsors may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to Contest Sponsors for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
If, as a result of an error relating to the entry process, drawing or any other aspect of the contest, there are more potential winners of prizes than contemplated in the contest rules, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible prize claimants after the contest closing date to award the prizes.
5. THE PRIZE PACKAGES AND PRIZE VALUE
There are 2 Prize Packages to be won.
Each Prize Package consists of the following:

One (1) Talent Hounds DVD
One (1) package of Scoopy Bags
One (1) package of Bullwrinkles Treats
Other surprise prizes and gift cards
Total estimated retail value of the prize over C$100
Not exchangeable for cash.
Allow 4-6 weeks for shipment of any prize after verification of the addresses provided along with the reply to the acceptance of Release Form through email.
All taxes on prizes are sole responsibility of the winner.
6. DEADLINE FOR CLAIMING A PRIZE
Following the confirmation as a prize winner in accordance with the Contest Rules, selected entrant will be given instructions and a deadline as to how they must claim the prize. Potential winners who fail either to claim the prize or to inform the Contest Sponsors his/her inability to claim the prize before the deadline, as instructed, will forfeit the prize. Entrants are responsible to keep their contact information up to date with the Contest Sponsors via email. The Contest Sponsors will not be held responsible for the loss of prizes due to changes in email addresses, mailing addresses, errors in completed entry forms or any other circumstances leading to an invalid, erroneous or incomplete mailing address or e-mail address.
7. PRIZE CONDITIONS
(i) Lost or stolen prize will not be replaced by Contest Sponsors
(ii) Shipping cost for the Prize Packages will be provided by the Contest Sponsors
8. CHANCES OF WINNING
One winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received on or about 5.00 pm ET July 26th, 2013. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the contest period.
9. NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES
None of the Contest Sponsors makes any representation or offers any warranty, expressed or implied, as to the quality or fitness of any prize awarded in connection with the Contest. Prize winners understand and acknowledge that he or she may not seek reimbursement or pursue any legal or equitable remedy from the Contest Sponsors should a prize fail to be fit for its purpose or is in any way unsatisfactory to a prize winner.
10. DECLARATION AND RELEASE OF PRIZE WINNER
Before being awarded a prize, the selected entrant, must reply to the Contest Sponsors’ email and indicate that he or she read, understood and accepted these Contest Rules; he or she releases the Contest Sponsors, the Affiliates, and all of their directors, officers, employees, agents as well as their respective advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability arising in connection with participation in the Contest and acceptance of a prize, including, without limitation, any financial, legal or moral responsibility or loss or personal injury including death or damage to or loss of property suffered or incurred or arising from participating in the Contest or accepting a prize, whether suffered by the prize winner, or by his or her heirs, administrators, personal representatives or executors, and notwithstanding that such injuries or losses may have been caused solely or partly by any act, omission, negligence or gross negligence of any or all of the Releasees.
11. PRIZE SUBSTITUTION
Prizes and prize portions are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, have no cash surrender value and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute and/or modify a prize, or prize portion, with (a) prize(s) of equal or greater value for any reason. Should a winner be unable to claim his/her prize or prize portion as awarded, his/her rights to that prize or prize portion will be forfeited.
12 PRIVACY / USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.
(a) By entering the Contest and voluntarily providing personal information including, but not limited to, name, address, city, email address, home and office telephone numbers (the “Registrant Information”), each entrant grants permission to the Contest Sponsors to collect and use the Registrant Information for the exclusive purpose of administering the Contest and selecting the prize winner(s). including but not limited to contacting and announcing the Winners; and (ii) acknowledges that the Sponsors may disclose his/her Personal Information to third-party agents and service providers of any of the Sponsors in connection with any of the activities listed in (i) above.
(b) By opting-in online you consent to the Contest Sponsors that you may be contacted to promote draws and contests similar to the Contest, promote opportunities to subscribe to newsletters or promotional clubs, and notify you about related products or services.
Subject to applicable law, the Contest Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend, terminate, modify the Contest Rules or administration of the Contest, in whole or in part, without prior notice with no obligation or liability, including, if for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned. Please check back regularly.
14. ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS
By submitting a video or photographic image, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and receipt of which you hereby acknowledge, you hereby grant to Hop To It Productions and its affiliates a non-exclusive, perpetual, world-wide, royalty-free license to use, edit, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, telecast, syndicate, license, print sublicense, create derivative products and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to it at our sole discretion without payment to you or any third party., including incorporating it in other works in any media now known or later developed including, without limitation, published books, TV series, films, videos. All such other works will be the sole property of Hop To It Productions and all copyright will reside with Hop To It Productions.
If you do not wish to grant these rights, it is suggested that you do not submit a sentence on why you love dogs a photographic image or video.
Hop To It Productions Inc reserves the right to select, edit and arrange submissions, and to remove text and images from the talenthounds.wpengine.com website or works at any time at its sole discretion.
You represent and warrant to the Sponsors that you have the full legal right, power and authority to grant to Hop To It Productions Inc the license provided for herein, that you own or control the complete exhibition and other rights to the materials you submitted for the purposes contemplated in this license and that neither the materials nor the exercise of the rights granted herein shall infringe upon or violate the right of privacy or right of publicity of, or constitute a libel or slander against, or violate any common law or any other right of, any person or entity. Users may be held legally liable for the contents of their submissions, for example, for material protected by copyright, trademark, patent or trade secret law or other proprietary right without permission of the author or owner, or defamatory comments.
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Sponsors that corrupts, impairs or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Contest Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend the Contest and/or prizes. The Contest Sponsors further reserve the right to disqualify, from this Contest and future contests of the Contest Sponsors, any individual who tampers with or in any way corrupts the entry process. The Contest Sponsors may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in the Contest Sponsors’ sole discretion, the Contest Sponsors determine that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or any unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or the Contest Sponsors representatives. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site, mobile application, or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsors reserve the right to seek remedies
