Favorite things at Canadian Pet Expo 2024

Christmas Canadian Pet Expo 2024 Poster

I was lucky enough to attend several Canadian Pet Expo trade and consumer events this year and had a blast. With The Christmas Canadian Pet Expo 2024 coming up this weekend, I thought it might be helpful to share some of my favorite things to buy or see there. You can get great deals on everything from stocking stuffers to training treats to food to fashions to toys and other gifts for Christmas for dogs and dog lovers.

Kilo the Pug is very food motivated so my first go to’s are treats. I have two favorite brands that I got to know at the Expos but also discover new brands each time.

Bullwrinkles

Kilo the Pug LOVES chewing on his bully sticks from Bullwrinkles and I love the fact that they are good for him. They have no added ingedients, provide protein, chondroitin and glucosamine. I have visited and filmed behind the scenes at their Ontario factory so I know the ingredients and production are high quality, human grade. You can read more about them in reviews I did (products provided by Bullwrinkles). Look out for great deals at the expos!

Benny Bullys Treats

Mini Bits – a fantastic training treat made from 100% pure beef liver that has been freeze-dried into small cubes. They are the perfect size for training any breed or age of dog and are available in two convenient sizes. These healthy and delicious treats are sure to become a staple in your pet’s training routine.

Absolutely love this new packaging. So handy- fits in my bags and pockets and 100% Recyclable. Other selling points: USDA and CFIA inspected plants• Source of iron, folic acid, vitamin A & B12• Freeze dried to lock in freshness and aroma• Raw food nutrition• No refrigeration required• Lots of palatable pieces• Great for training• Made from human grade beef liver• Nutritious, pure and natural• Low calories per treat.

Plus keep your eyes out for other new brands of freeze-dried products and healthy treats.

Food

I see Petcurean on the exhibitor list. Kilo eats a rotation of Canadian kibble and stews. He is a huge fan of the Petcurean NOW products and so am I.  See our review here.

We also love Nutram who sponsored the Lure Course -Not sure if they have a booth this year but stop by if they do.

The Lure Course is another fan fave at most CPE’s.

Royal Canin is sponsoring the Royal Canin Crown Classic CKC Dog Show so they will probably have all their latest products. If you are thinking of adding a new furry family member, do your research before adopting. The Canadian Pet Expo is the perfect place to meet and learn about a wide variety of breeds. You can chat with breeders, rescues and exhibitors, discover breed traits, and ask all your questions to find the perfect match for your family.

Fashions, Toys and More

I bought Kilo’s excellent current harness at a previous CPE so check out all the new fashions and products this year from harnesses to leashes to jackets to boots to clothes. There are also lots of toys and games I can’t resist.

Celebrity Friends

We always enjoy catching up with The Furry Beauties and making new celebrity pet friends.

So hope to see you there this weekend- a great start to the holiday season.

How do these products improve the daily lives of pets and their owners in terms of health and convenience? It would be interesting to know if there are any particular trends in pet care that stood out during the expo.
