BlogPaws just revealed the finalists for the 2017 Nose-to-Nose Pet Blogging and Social Media Awards. We are Nominated for BlogPaws 2017 Best Pet Video Award against some stiff competition!

The awards unite all species of animals and those who write about and for them. We are thrilled to be nominated for the “Best Pet Blog Vido Finalists” among so many other amazing videos and talented bloggers. Each category is judged by a distinguished panel of professionals.

Why we should all “Love Like a Dog”

The motivation behind making the video for “Love Like a Dog” was simple. I needed a break from all the conflict, bad news, and negative media over the last few months. I wanted to share something uplifting and to remind people that one of the best examples of how to love and live life to its fullest can be found in our canine companions. Dogs don’t discriminate and at Talent Hounds, we don’t think people should either. One of the best things about pets and pet blogs is the way they make us smile. It brings people so much joy to break up their day with things as simple as a cute cat video or an inspiring story of how a dog saved the day.

We hope this video will spread the love and remind us to love more like dogs and to stop judging one another based on color, or sexuality or where we come from.  We all deserve to feel accepted.

Blog Paws 2017 Conference

The BlogPaws 2017 Conference, is taking place May 18th-20th at the beautiful Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel. I can’t wait to attend the Awards Ceremony on Saturday evening as a Nominee and walk that red carpet again this year.

Catching up with friends and making new ones will be a highlight on the weekend for me I’m sure. I can’t wait to see all the talent and hard work celebrated.

Winners receive the coveted Nose-to-Nose trophies on stage during the live-streamed awards gala, honored status among their peers, media attention, as well as a package of other prizes.

I am also looking forward to lots of great educational sessions (and some warmer weather).
