Meet Chopper the Biker Dog! This very special Boston Terrier has been spreading happiness and smiles in the San Diego area from his Harley for the last four years:

“Making a difference in life, one ‘Paw’ at a time” – Chopper

He is a very cool, very cute Therapy Dog who visits hospitals, attends charitable events and is an avid supporter of American military troops. He is always looking to lend a helping paw where needed. He is an inspiration to us all.

He loves meeting everyone, especially children, and they love him.

Here’s Chopper participating in the annual Christmas event put on by a group of San Diego Businessmen known as “The Nice Guys.” For more than 30 years, the organization has helped hundreds of deserving individuals and families throughout the San Diego community who have fallen on hard times.

This was Chopper’s second appearance at the event.

Here he is on his Christmas visit to Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) bringing Christmas Cheer to dozens of children undergoing treatment.

As a part of his therapy work, he also visited the Veteran’s Hospital in La Jolla, CA to show his appreciation to the men and women recovering from war injuries. Chopper was able to bring them smiles and affection on no better day than Veteran’s day. After spending an hour visiting each patient confined to a room, Mark ( his human handler) and Chopper were escorted to the community room where more patients had gathered to play Bingo. Chopper made the rounds, visiting with each patient.

When Chopper became aware of the Wounded Warriors Project, he wanted to show these heroes just how much he appreciated their efforts help spread the word to the public about this worthwhile organization .

Chopper wanted to help  these men and women who have given so much in service to their country and, because of their severe combat wounds, need some help in return.

Chopper decided to donate $1 from the sale of every “Chopper The Biker Dog” Patch to the Wounded Warrior Project.

At every appearance during a 3 month period, Chopper made it a point to bring the Wounded Warrior Project to the attention of his fans. And it worked. He managed to raise $300 dollars for the cause!Visit the Wounded Warrior Project website HERE to help!

Chopper helped many families separated from their loved ones due to military demands celebrate Christmas. On June 25th, San Diego military families got a second chance to celebrate “The Christmas You Missed” thanks to the San Diego Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA)
