Valentine’s can be a bit cheesy and commercial, but I still think it is a wonderful time to be thankful for love. Dogs offer us true, unconditional love and companionship so let’s all recognize that love.
Kilo my rescue Pug is my mini, perfect Valentine for the fourth year now (my husband is used to it). I love any excuse to spoil him with some yummy treats so Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to celebrate. Nothing beats the gift of love for me so what could be better than getting showered with pug hugs and kisses from Kilo in return? Although a nice meal and good bottle of red wine are pretty great too.

Evie (passed away this past Aug. of cancer),Tressa and Harley. i still cry almost everyday for Evie. she was my Valentine for almost 16 years. it will be very hard this year since i took her to her last Vday party because i knew it would be her last. She has terminal cancer. what a great way to celebrate Valentines by helping out rescues.
